PARISH ORGANIZATIONS

If you would like to become involved in these different areas of our parish life, please contact the Rectory at 914-948-5909.

Altar Servers, Lectors & Eucharistic Ministers:
There are many ways to get involved and to help our community in our worship.

Children’s Choir:
The program’s objective is to teach children the language of music and artistic expression within a Catholic Christian faith context. The choir is actively involved with the spiritual and liturgical life of the Church and sing at one liturgy a month.

Parish Council:
Meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month (except January, February, July & August) at 7:30 pm in the rectory hall. All are welcome to attend.

Rosary Hill Project:
Meets the last 4th Thursday of every month (except July, August, November & December), from 1-3 pm in the rectory hall. All are welcome to attend.

Once a month, a number of parishioners gather in the rectory hall to prepare bed pads that are donated to Rosary Hill, a hospital run by the  Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne for terminally ill cancer patients. One of the unique aspects of this hospital is that there is no cost to the patient.

This group of both men and women usually meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 1:00 o’clock for approximately two hours.  Although some of the work entails sewing, there are absolutely no skills required.

Please join us in assisting the Sisters in their most commendable work in ministering to our brothers and sisters who are approaching their final days of life.

“When I was sick, you ministered to me!”
Jesus
